Rule One Protein Powder Review – Is R1 The Right One For You?

Rule One R1 Review

What is R1 Protein Powder?

R1 Protein Powder is Rule One’s flagship protein is made with super-pure 100% whey isolate, fast-acting whey hydrolysate, and virtually nothing else. Rule One completely avoided the use of whey concentrates and creamers, gums, amino spiking, and other fillers.  This means that this protein is one of the, if not the, cleanest protein on the market!

It’s not necessarily the cheapest protein powder in terms of overall protein content. Still, given the wide range of high-quality protein sources it uses, it is priced reasonably and provides great value.

Rule One Whey Protein Powder Highlights:

  • Contains a blend of 2 different high-quality protein sources, Whey Protein Isolate and Whey Protein Hydrolysate
  • Contains 25g protein, 1g carbs, 0g fat, and 110 calories per serving
  • Provides a steady stream of protein to your muscles
  • This shake is lactose, sugar, and glutton free!

Cons:

  • Extremely sweet taste (this is a Pro if you like overly sweet shakes)
  • Not for all users due to slow digestible protein strategy

Additional Information on R1 Protein Shake

What’s in it: One serving contains:

  • 25g protein blend consisting of whey protein isolate and whey protein Hydrolysate.

Combinations: Good combination, but perhaps a little too complicated for the purpose.

Quality: Good quality ingredients, cleanest shake that we have tried.

Editors Favorite Flavor: Chocolate Fudge

How and When Do I Take It?

As per the manufacturer’s recommendations, you are to take one heaping scoop and add it to 6-8 fl ounces of cold water, milk, or your favorite beverage.  Multiple servings can be taken throughout the day, and this is generally recommended for optimal results.

Note: Speak with your doctor before taking this product and always follow the manufacturer’s instructions on the label.

Are There Any Precautions?

This is a highly refined milk product, so there is essentially no lactose or fat present. The only precaution that needs to be taken if you are particularly concerned is to start by taking a half serving for a day or two to test your tolerance and ability to digest the proteins. This is not generally considered necessary, though, so only do this if you are especially concerned.

Taste/Composition/Mixability

The range of flavors that R1 Protein is available in is nothing short of amazing. My personal favorite the Chocolate Fudge flavor, but it tends to be sweeter than most shakes. Because of the high purity of this supplement, the composition and mixability are great. The manufacturer’s recommendations are to mix your shakes for 15 seconds, but your results may vary.

Is it Worth the Money?

Yes. I have used Rule One Whey Protein powder and recommend it to anyone looking for an extremely clean protein powder that doesn’t have any added fillers, creamers, or gums. We all need to look at supplements as an investment in our bodybuilding and general athletic endeavors, and ever there was a sound investment to be made, then this is it!

Rule 1 Whey Protein Powder Conclusion

R1 Protein Powder is easily one of, if you are looking for a lean and clean protein, this one is for you.  It’s also great for those that are looking for a shake that is glutton and lactose-free.  We highly recommend that you try this out.  Below is a link to order it from Amazon!
